Jesus predicts future events

Jesus predicts future events

When Jesus came out of the temple and drove them away, came upon his disciples to show him the buildings of the temple.  2  And he said to them: "Do you see all these things? Truly I tell you, not from this remain one stone upon another. Each will be lies in ruins. "
3  When he later sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples come to him personally and privately, saying, "Tell us, when will this happen. What will the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?"  4 "Take heed that no man deceive you, "  Jesus said to them.  5 "For many will come in my name, proclaiming the Messiah, and shall deceive many.  6  When you hear that close to you of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed . All things must happen, but the end will not come yet.  7  will make war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and Famines.  8  All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9  Then they will torture and kill.  And you will be hated by all nations because you are mine.  10  Many will then stumble in the faith, and shall betray one another and hate.  11  will appear many false prophets, and shall deceive many.  12  Lawlessness will take a big swing, and the love of many will grow cold.  13  But he who endures to the end shall be saved.  14  The good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the world to all nations, and then the end will come.
15  So when you see the abomination of which is written by the prophet Daniel standing in the holy place (let the reader understand what it is!),  16  years those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.  17 Whoever is caught on the housetop not come down to take you house!  18  Who happens to be in the field must not return after gown!  19  Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers!  20  Pray that you do not need to run in the winter or on the Sabbath  21  because it will be great tribulation, it was not any of the foundation of the world nor will be ever after. 22  And the Lord had shortened the time of trouble, no one would be saved.  But he has shortened those days because of his players.
23  He says to you then, who 'Behold the Messiah!'  or 'There he is!'  Do not believe  24  will rise because many false messiahs and false prophets, and to these signs and great miracles in order to, if possible, even Monday God's elect.  25  Behold, I have warned you in advance.
26 He says you then who 'There he is, in the desert,' do not go there, do you say 'In the secret chambers; believe it not.  27 For the coming of the Son of Man will be like lightning that flashed in the east and enlighten the entire sky, to the west. 28  As its gathering of vultures may know that in the near carrion, so you will by these signs to know that the thread close.
29  At the time they pass all these horrors
The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shine,
the stars will fall from the sky
and the heavens will be shaken force.  30  Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man.  Proplakat will then all the nations of the earth and see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.  31  He will send his angels to assemble his elect from all sides, from the four winds, from one end of heaven.
32  Learn from the fig tree. When its branches to break out delicate buds and its leaves, you know that summer is near.  33  also, when you see that it happens all of which I spoke to you, you can be sure that it is near, Even at the doors.  34  I tell you that This generation shall not pass, till all that happens.  35  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass!
36  No one, however, knows the day nor the hour when this will happen.  I do not know Even the angels in heaven, Even the Son.  He knows only the Father.  37  For the Son of man coming will be like in the times of Noah.  38  Such as the time before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the boat  39 and they knew nothing until he flood came and took them all, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man.
40  Of the two who are then worked together in the field; one will be taken and the other left.  41  Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other left.  42  Watch therefore, for ye know not when your Lord come!
43  Know ye that if the owner of the house knew when the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not let him break into a house.  44  Therefore, be ready, because the Son of Man will come when he can not hope .
45  Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord established to govern the household, to give them meat in due season?  46  Blessed is he whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing!  47 Truly I tell you, will entrust him to manage all his goods.  48 But if the wicked servant thought: 'The manager is still not coming back'  49  and begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards,  50  the master will come on a day when he does not expect and in an hour that will never have guessed.  51  will mercilessly punish him and determine his fate with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
