Flight into Egypt
13 When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph. "Get up and flee to Egypt with the child and his mother," said the angel, "and stay there until I tell you to come back because King Herod look for the child to kill him." 14 Joseph got up and even the same night he went to Egypt with Mary and the child. 15 He stayed there until Herod's death. This fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "I called my son out of Egypt."
16 When saw that he was tricked the wise men, Herod was angry and sent the soldiers that were in Bethlehem, and in all the surrounding kill all the male children two years and younger, according to the release time for the stars to inquire into the sage. 17 This fulfilled the prophecy of the prophet Jeremiah :
18 "In Rama was there a voice heard, groaning, and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and not to be comforted, because they are no more."
